Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabrizio Adriano went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 7th minute of the match, Eliseo Noboa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Horea Balint saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 7th minute, Eliseo Noboa made a precise shot to the right of Horea Balint. Bar Marconi United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Fabrizio Adriano might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabrizio Adriano ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrizio Adriano in the 10th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabrizio Adriano might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabrizio Adriano ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Fabrizio Adriano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Fabrizio Adriano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Davide Spadoni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrizio Adriano in the 19th minute of play. Fabrizio Adriano struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bar Marconi United. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrizio Adriano in the 23rd minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Fabrizio Adriano notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bar Marconi United's Fabrizio Adriano got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the game, Hugo Ferrant was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bar Marconi United the free kick. The supporters of Bar Marconi United booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Ferrant didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Fabrizio Adriano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. After 41 minutes, Axel Tasis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Bar Marconi United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Axel Tasis hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Alexander Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabrizio Adriano struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bar Marconi United.

Bar Marconi United made a substitution. Enzo Di Rocco replaced Alfonso Andreozzi. In the 58th minute, Fabrizio Adriano made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. Costin Alucai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Costin Alucai took a quick shot and it went in 1-8 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. 78 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Costin Alucai. Cesare Talamo kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Bar Marconi United's Andrea Ranalli was substituted for Davide Spadoni. A collision led to Bar Marconi United getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Cesare Talamo hit a great ball. Costin Alucai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Costa Rica! Costa Rica:s Benito Sanz showed great skill when he stopped Enrico Romanese:s penalty. Eliseo Noboa hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Costin Alucai struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bar Marconi United. 90 minutes into the game, Alexander Carballo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bar Marconi United the free kick. In the 90th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Carballo to maneuver through the defense. After 92 minutes of play, Bar Marconi United's Costin Alucai made it 1-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match was over Bar Marconi United could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Costa Rica throughout the match.
