Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Luca Rouco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and 史旭林 quite easily take care of the ball. Tomas Gabrielsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Joel Gaona kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving 史旭林. Joel Gaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 史旭林 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. 严勇振 hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Joel Gaona might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 史旭林. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Gaona ran back to his position shaking his head. Lautaro Mancebo didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-5 via right post in the game's 93rd minute. Mexico's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mexico walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
