Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walter Giardino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Peru's Milagros Fraga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Sá narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alexis Alexandris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Alexis Alexandris came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rolando Noboa could save by the left post. 32 minutes into the match, tHe SOnS of rAGnar's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but José Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 41st minute of the game was made by Fiz Biembengén with Alexis Alexandris as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with José Sá in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
