Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Joel Gaona made the kick off which started today's match. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brian Finnman in the 17th minute of the match. Cris Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 19th minute of play. Robin Steckamp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute of the match, Robin Steckamp got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dante Lacasa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 30th minute Wambalamba FC were awarded a corner. Brian Finnman went to the cornerflag to take it. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juarês Donato in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Wambalamba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Cris Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cris Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 43rd minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juarês Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robin Steckamp made a kick off. Wambalamba FC's Cris Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 53rd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Wambalamba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Cris Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Carlos Vianna went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Joel Gaona got a free kick in the 56th minute. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Finnman in the 58th minute of play. Juarês Donato took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Juarês Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juarês Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when João Carlos Vianna came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute João Carlos Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cris Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 79th minute of play. João Carlos Vianna's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Carlos Vianna helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Wambalamba FC's João Carlos Vianna got a free kick in the 82nd minute. A collision led to Wambalamba FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Jacek Przybyciel hit a great ball. Cris Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 93rd match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Mancebo to maneuver through the defense. Wambalamba FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mexico for a fine match.
