A very good chance. 10 minutes into the match, Haiti's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Bartolome came free, but Noel Seide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Alphonse scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilberto Aztore, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gilberto Aztore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Alphonse in the 15th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Jonathan Alphonse sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cura del Futbol's Gilberto Aztore didn't even have to move. The supporters of Haiti booed when Cura del Futbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Acosta didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Jimeno Millano in the 23rd minute really tested Noel Seide's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Raymond Louis charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raymond Louis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Haiti getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Raymond Louis hit a great ball. Gilberto Aztore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Alphonse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Carolo Chus in the 33rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Haiti's Felix Dorval. When Haiti's Jonathan Alphonse in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cura del Futbol's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonathan Alphonse in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilberto Aztore saved Cura del Futbol from getting behind. Gilberto Aztore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Alphonse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Haiti were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Bartolome made a kick off. Carlos Bartolome's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Noel Seide read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Jonathan Alphonse's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Gilberto Aztore skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Cura del Futbol's Bernardo Acosta got a free kick in the 59th minute. Ernesto Ascencio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 64 minutes into the match. After 65 played minutes Cura del Futbol got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Ascencio. Haiti's attentive Jean Marie Alcius managed to snatch the ball when Carolo Chus made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. Jonathan Alphonse could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Gilberto Aztore made a huge save. Gilberto Aztore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Alphonse, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Martin Acuña managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cura del Futbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Acuña was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noel Seide breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th minute Jonathan Alphonse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Aztore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Eustaquio Celio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Haiti's Raymond Louis quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Gilberto Aztore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Alphonse, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Bernardo Acosta hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the match, Cura del Futbol's goalkeeper Gilberto Aztore had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Alphonse. After 88 minutes, Israel Torres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cura del Futbol and the Haiti players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cura del Futbol's Bernardo Acosta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gesner Philippe, made in the 91st minute of the game. If Jonathan Alphonse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haiti's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
