Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Gelmiro in the 10th minute of play. Amanda Knapp might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amanda Knapp ran back to his position shaking his head. Matias Gelmiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Stanko Selimović was slow to take the kick. During this time ALIDIM FOR EVER's players had a chance to rest. Tião Penha made a great header on ALIDIM FOR EVER's corner, it was just that Colombia's Pedro Manzanares managed to reach the ball for a save. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. ALIDIM FOR EVER's Herminio Gizon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 50th minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Gaueko Nanclares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Herminio Gizon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Mastache in the 94th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Colombia fans cheered their team off the field, for while ALIDIM FOR EVER had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
