Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Tan in the 3rd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Albirex Niigata FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Alguacil came free, but 俞冰帆 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidoro Sarmiento's late challenge caught a Albirex Niigata FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidoro Sarmiento helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th minute, Aziz Vijiaratnam reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcos Cotilla. The goal made the score 1-0. After some careless play in the Albirex Niigata FC defense, Tomas Berganza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 俞冰帆. The Albirex Niigata FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 俞冰帆 should have stopped the shot. Isidoro Sarmiento hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Albirex Niigata FC's Diego Belém got a free kick in the 18th minute. Isidoro Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Diego Belém had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Amir Pieng sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Albirex Niigata FC's Diego Belém got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 31st minute of the game Jose Carita made a throw-in which Tomas Berganza played forward. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. 36 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Belém. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Belém in the 37th minute. Diego Belém could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. Diego Belém sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Abraham Alguacil hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

俞冰帆 was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abraham Alguacil showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 57 minute of play. In the 59th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 俞冰帆 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Belém came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Belém in the 63rd minute of play. Isidoro Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. If Diego Belém had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abraham Alguacil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Panama players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Albirex Niigata FC.
