Abandon All Hope's Meng Yan Jing proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Abandon All Hope from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Michal Arendarski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ye Hong went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ye Hong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Ye Hong sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Ye Hong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Michal Arendarski made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Meng Yan Jing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 77th minute of play forced Abandon All Hope's goalkeeper Meng Yan Jing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 minutes Abandon All Hope's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 82nd minute of play forced Abandon All Hope's goalkeeper Meng Yan Jing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Abandon All Hope's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Meng Yan Jing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Abandon All Hope's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gilbert Gorzkiewicz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Abandon All Hope's Cristo Uchiha got a free kick in the 90th minute. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute.
