Alex Elenescu helped the player get up and apologised. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Anthony Alvarado. In the 18th match minute, TiGrEs Fx was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Elenescu to maneuver through the defense. Alex Elenescu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rolando Noboa came out and tried to block the shot, but Alex Elenescu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 23rd minute. Gerardo Trimiño made in the 26th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Alex Elenescu however managed to control. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franc Merlot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, TiGrEs Fx's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Mina came free, but Franc Merlot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luz Tejedor spun around in front of the goal 36 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of TiGrEs Fx's goal. Peru were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after TiGrEs Fx's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of TiGrEs Fx's goalie and right to Alonso Berganza. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. TiGrEs Fx's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Franc Merlot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 40th minute of play. Franc Merlot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 45th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Milagros Fraga in the 47th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by TiGrEs Fx's Junior Saron.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, Peru's Franc Merlot threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Murillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 59th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franc Merlot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Alex Elenescu made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. TiGrEs Fx's Gilberto Rancaño was substituted for Alex Elenescu. TiGrEs Fx made a substitution. Gentza Arribas replaced Maju Vellon. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franc Merlot saved TiGrEs Fx from getting behind. TiGrEs Fx's Franc Merlot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save TiGrEs Fx from getting a goal against them. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Joaquin Prats kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Franc Merlot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 94th minute of the match.
