Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute Severino Mangueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 played minutes Caetite FC got a freekick which was hit by Gino Vianna. Atay Arpacıoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Baturhan Eroğlu could save by the left post. 23 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baturhan Eroğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th minute Severino Mangueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atay Arpacıoğlu in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Tomas Illescas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Atay Arpacıoğlu might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Atay Arpacıoğlu ran back to his position shaking his head. 38 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Taco Ericsson came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baturhan Eroğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Baturhan Eroğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Severino Mangueira made the kick off in the second half. If Taco Ericsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atay Arpacıoğlu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Salvador Gisbert hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atay Arpacıoğlu in the 57th minute of play. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute, Tomas Illescas made a precise shot to the right of Baturhan Eroğlu. Caetite FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Atay Arpacıoğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Régis de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Atay Arpacıoğlu could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. 85 minutes into the game, Jose Correa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caetite FC the free kick. Venezuela were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Caetite FC for a fine match.
