Pedro Manzanares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Santiago Simon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. 10 minutes in the game Samuel Navarro did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Santino Seco. In the 12th minute, Santino Seco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Franc Armani was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience was convinced that Abram Sarmiento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franc Armani was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Ignacio Mastache kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Franc Armani. That made the score 4-3 in the 95 minute of play.
