Limeira's corner Matheus França fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. If Aníbal Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Illescas in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Robbie Southgate, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Independente F.C. Limeira's Matheus França got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Venezuela players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Independente F.C. Limeira were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. After a rather tough play, Independente F.C. Limeira's Mito Kannemann got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Independente F.C. Limeira's Robbie Southgate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 60th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 高坤源, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Independente F.C. Limeira's Matheus França to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbie Southgate having to interfere. Robbie Southgate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of Independente F.C. Limeira booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Pedro Luís do Valle notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Independente F.C. Limeira's goalkeeper Robbie Southgate, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Independente F.C. Limeira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorian Linhares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robbie Southgate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 93rd minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when 高坤源 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 0-3.
