Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the Gurdurão defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cássio Amaral. The Gurdurão fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cássio Amaral should have stopped the shot. Cássio Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cássio Amaral having to make a save. In the 11th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mazinho Tróia fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gurdurão's protests and gave Mazinho Tróia a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gurdurão getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Mazinho Tróia hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renan Cunha in the 25th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cássio Amaral came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. During the 33rd minute of the match Mazinho Tróia completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mazinho Tróia a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 34 played minutes Gurdurão got a freekick which was hit by Mazinho Tróia. Patricio Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cássio Amaral having to make a save. Wilson Vianna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Cássio Amaral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. 43 minutes into the game, Diamantino Sergipano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gurdurão's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. In the 44th match minute, Gurdurão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Sergipano to maneuver through the defense. After 45 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Vianna in the 46th minute of the match.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Renan Cunha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cássio Amaral having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cássio Amaral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cássio Amaral having to make a save. Tomas Illescas came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cássio Amaral could save by the left post. In the 69th minute, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cássio Amaral. Cássio Amaral yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Cássio Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Wilson Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cássio Amaral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Willian Siqueira hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. João Vítor Dionísio kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After 96 played minutes Patricio Costa rounded Gurdurão's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. Venezuela's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
