After 2 minutes, Cafu Carneiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 30 de Fevereiro and the Bolivia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Deivid Dionísio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Ferrant in the 4th minute of the match. 30 de Fevereiro's Deivid Dionísio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Fontirroig in the 6th minute of play. After 9 minutes, Mario Fernandino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bolivia and the 30 de Fevereiro players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphael Oliveira in the 12th minute of play forced Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deivid Dionísio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso de la Cruz in the 14th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Basílio Nascimento during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 21 minutes into the match, 30 de Fevereiro's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Fontirroig came free, but Deivid Dionísio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bolivia's Alfonso de la Cruz in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sandro Mazza made in the 37th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Arí Peres. Deivid Dionísio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Fontirroig, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raphael Oliveira made a kick off. After a rather tough play, 30 de Fevereiro's Basílio Nascimento got a free kick in the 56th minute. Basílio Nascimento was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to 30 de Fevereiro getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Basílio Nascimento hit a great ball. Cafu Carneiro got his second yellow card in the match during the 70th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Eduardo Fontirroig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Fernandino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Deivid Dionísio made a huge save. Eduardo Fontirroig charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduardo Fontirroig the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bolivia were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
