The throw-in from Alex Chicote in the 9th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ☆冰谷☆面条在麻将馆's 杜青榕. 梅卫翀s short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 14 minutes into the game, Brain Pain cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Walter Kannemann's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Brain Pain kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot.
