The audience thought a goal was coming when Beto Márcico got free with Marco Day in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th minute Edward Mcdonald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Lohitzun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Asesinos Por Naturaleza booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Brown didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute Silvestre Moise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

52 minutes into the match, Edward Mcdonald notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Asesinos Por Naturaleza's Pablo Lohitzun. Pablo Lohitzun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 55 minutes into the match, Asesinos Por Naturaleza's Rui Furtado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Day narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Asesinos Por Naturaleza. Asesinos Por Naturaleza's Esteve Nerio was substituted for Cai Shi Sheng. Monty Rogers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Pablo Lohitzun made a huge save. When Asesinos Por Naturaleza's Felipe Ralondo in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 93rd minute of the match, Khalid Parry tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pablo Lohitzun saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 94 minutes into the match, Asesinos Por Naturaleza's goalkeeper Pablo Lohitzun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Baker. USA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
