Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kent Lindberg kicked off to start the match. Mercado Paulista F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hans Doss in the 7th minute. A nice corner shot did that Hans Doss got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mercado Paulista F.C's attentive Paulino Elequemedo managed to snatch the ball when Alex Chicote made a throw-in in the 11th minute of the game. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 22 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hans Doss who took care of the corner kick. In the 30th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. When Mercado Paulista F.C's Kent Lindberg in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Franco Sampler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 36th minute of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Amado Herensuge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kent Lindberg got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 47 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. Kent Lindberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mercado Paulista F.C made a substitution. Cristian de Lima replaced Kent Lindberg. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Patricio Costa to strike the kick off in the second half. Mercado Paulista F.C's Paulino Elequemedo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tomas Illescas in the 54 minute of the game. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian de Lima went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 61 minutes into the match, Cristian de Lima had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian de Lima was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After 64 minutes of play, Mercado Paulista F.C's Cristian de Lima made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Cristian de Lima kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Correa during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Mercado Paulista F.C booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian de Lima's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Mercado Paulista F.C's Cristian de Lima. But to his dismay, Cristian de Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. 87 minutes into the game, Mercado Paulista F.C's Cristian de Lima nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. 92 minutes into the match, Cristian de Lima had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian de Lima was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Cristian de Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere.
