When Mexico's Joel Gaona in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Garrapatita Futbol's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Joel Gaona sped through Garrapatita Futbol's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hermengildo Jaume. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Hermengildo Jaume didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Hermengildo Jaume made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 13th minute of play. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernan Garoa in the 14th minute. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Turin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Garrapatita Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Hermengildo Jaume reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Macos Graciani threw the ball into play from the sideline. Garrapatita Futbol's Astor Corderun quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The crowd rose to their feet as Garrapatita Futbol's Fernan Garoa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dante Lacasa. That made the score 1-1 after 30 minutes of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernan Garoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Garrapatita Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Hermengildo Jaume reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Astor Corderun kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Alan Turin made the kick off in the second half. The long shot by Joel Gaona in the 53rd minute really tested Hermengildo Jaume's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 55th minute of play forced Garrapatita Futbol's goalkeeper Hermengildo Jaume to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baltasar Millano charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baltasar Millano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermengildo Jaume breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Garrapatita Futbol's zone, Luca Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermengildo Jaume came out of the goal and Luca Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Hermengildo Jaume. Garrapatita Futbol's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Hermengildo Jaume in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Garrapatita Futbol's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. 73 minutes into the match, Garrapatita Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Hermengildo Jaume reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 73 minutes, Luca Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luca Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Garrapatita Futbol made a substitution. Alfredo Gorri replaced Alan Turin. After 76 played minutes Garrapatita Futbol got a freekick which was hit by Teo Acosta. Hermengildo Jaume showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 86th minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Garrapatita Futbol's goalkeeper Hermengildo Jaume had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joel Gaona. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Astor Corderun fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garrapatita Futbol's protests and gave Astor Corderun a yellow card for diving instead. Astor Corderun hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Garrapatita Futbol's attentive Astor Corderun managed to snatch the ball when Macos Graciani made a throw-in in the 94th minute of the game. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luca Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Hermengildo Jaume tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Garrapatita Futbol succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Mexico had controlled the match.
