Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Marciano Gumaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Dep. Union Madereros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marciano Gumaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 10 minutes Club Dep. Union Madereros's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Camilo Gaos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luis Swain quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Marciano Gumaro fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Dep. Union Madereros's protests and gave Marciano Gumaro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Marciano Gumaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cornelio Colas in the 17th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Abella got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luis Swain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Dep. Union Madereros's Cornelio Colas. But to his dismay, Cornelio Colas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 30 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marciano Gumaro. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Luis Swain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Abella in the 36th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luis Swain read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Cornelio Colas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Club Dep. Union Madereros's Leo Argina was substituted for Cornelio Enmanuel. A collision led to Club Dep. Union Madereros getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Murilo Leão hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Colas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaime Laurgain went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Club Dep. Union Madereros's Murilo Leão quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 81 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Laurgain came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Dep. Union Madereros's attentive Murilo Leão managed to snatch the ball when Alex Chicote made a throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game. Ismael Ourente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87thth minute of the game Jaime Laurgain who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 93rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. Murilo Leão might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Murilo Leão ran back to his position shaking his head.
