Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind ≮王者归来≯永远国米's goalkeeper 范思桦, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 21st minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 范思桦 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 played minutes ≮王者归来≯永远国米 got a freekick which was hit by 潘光冰. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 范思桦 was left in no man's land by his defense there! 孟谦渊s short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but 范思桦 showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 40th minute. 范思桦 came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ≮王者归来≯永远国米's goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 孟谦渊 was the one to do the kick off. 范思桦 was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Felix Montenegro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Felix Montenegro really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 范思桦 having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 范思桦. That made the score 0-5 after 56 minutes of play. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. 范思桦 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 范思桦 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 范思桦 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Ecuador played a much better game than ≮王者归来≯永远国米 and deserved their victory. The ≮王者归来≯永远国米 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
