The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Deng Guo Yang's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. The supporters of Peru booed when Fedaykin of Arrakeen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mei Ran Wen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Filip Bronder was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Mina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filip Bronder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 2-5 became the score in the 94th minute when Lars Bagge elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fedaykin of Arrakeen.
