A collision led to O MOTIVO ⚽ getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Claudinho Quintal hit a great ball. Adalberto Figueiredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Bernardo de Salles tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adalberto Figueiredo came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of play forced O MOTIVO ⚽'s goalkeeper Adalberto Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after O MOTIVO ⚽'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Felix Montes got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-4. 30 minutes into the match. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in O MOTIVO ⚽'s zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adalberto Figueiredo came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, O MOTIVO ⚽'s Oswaldo Rosa got a free kick in the 38th minute. Adalberto Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The wind increased when Bernardo de Salles made the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 54 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Adalberto Figueiredo managed to make a qualified save. O MOTIVO ⚽'s players were relieved. Adalberto Figueiredo stood somewhat misplaced when Daniel Zorita came free in front of goal and shot 0-6 to the left of him in the 54 minute. After some careless play in the O MOTIVO ⚽ defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adalberto Figueiredo. The O MOTIVO ⚽ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adalberto Figueiredo should have stopped the shot. In the 59th minute, Bernardo de Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cássio Furtado fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored O MOTIVO ⚽'s protests and gave Cássio Furtado a yellow card for diving instead. After 61 played minutes O MOTIVO ⚽ got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Furtado. Adalberto Figueiredo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Daniel Zorita. In the 62nd match minute, O MOTIVO ⚽ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celsinho Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adalberto Figueiredo. That made the score 0-8 after 67 minutes of play. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind O MOTIVO ⚽'s goalkeeper Adalberto Figueiredo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adalberto Figueiredo made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adalberto Figueiredo having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adalberto Figueiredo. That made the score 0-10 after 81 minutes of play. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Adalberto Figueiredo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adalberto Figueiredo having to interfere. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Adalberto Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 90 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Felix Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adalberto Figueiredo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Adalberto Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
