In the 13th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Mastache to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Ionică Savu came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilie Maleș in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, AFC Nirosxn 08's Ionică Savu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Joshua Garrido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kevin Mastache recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the match, AFC Nirosxn 08's goalkeeper Mugurel Slătineanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. In the 35th minute Ionică Savu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ştefan Bogrea hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Axel Montenegro from long distance, 39 minutes into the match, got Mugurel Slătineanu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 40 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Atanasiu came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th match minute, AFC Nirosxn 08 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doru Şelaru to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abram Sarmiento to make the kick off. Mugurel Slătineanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 68th minute of the match. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after AFC Nirosxn 08's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kevin Mastache took the corner. 72 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Laurențiu Todericiu came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
