A collision led to Atlético da Colina getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Denílson Schmidt hit a great ball. In the 14thth minute of the game Axel Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético da Colina's Hílton Dias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Set Master tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 24th minute of play forced Atlético da Colina's goalkeeper Hílton Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Colombia booed when Atlético da Colina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tom Demange didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Atlético da Colina's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Hílton Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colombia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético da Colina the free kick. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético da Colina's goalkeeper Hílton Dias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Colombia booed when Atlético da Colina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anísio Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Colombia's Axel Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Abram Sarmiento made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Atlético da Colina's Justo Lukach sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Justo Lukach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, Atlético da Colina's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Hílton Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hílton Dias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diego Souza in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76thth minute of the game Diego Souza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joshua Garrido made in the 78th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Atlético da Colina's Ref Bunsoy. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diego Souza in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Diego Souza scored 2-2 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 87th minute, Diego Souza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Diego Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute, Diego Souza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Atlético da Colina had won after a very even match.
