Ciccio Tacconi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd minute 盛世 高文竞 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciccio Tacconi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after NFC Eagles 22's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. NFC Eagles 22's Ciccio Tacconi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 31st minute of play. Ciccio Tacconi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 41st minute of play forced NFC Eagles 22's goalkeeper Ciccio Tacconi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciccio Tacconi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 43rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, 盛世 高文竞 managed to get in a good position for a shot. NFC Eagles 22's supporters rose to their feet, but 盛世 高文竞 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 盛世 高文竞 in the 51st minute of the match. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 56th minute of play forced NFC Eagles 22's goalkeeper Ciccio Tacconi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NFC Eagles 22. NFC Eagles 22's Jeroen Heerckes was substituted for Emil Houwing. The audience was convinced that Alberto Tafalla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciccio Tacconi was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. With a little luck, NFC Eagles 22's Ciccio Tacconi got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line.
