Lorenz Ureta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Måns Sandberg in the 41st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amado Ba during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ajax Colombiano getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Amado Ba hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The wind increased when Baba Ba made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Måns Sandberg lined in a short shot 1-4 behind a frustrated Lorenz Ureta. The Norrlands Athen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. 75 minutes into the match, Juan Lebron had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lorenz Ureta. Ajax Colombiano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Lebron was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. Lorenz Ureta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Lebron, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After some careless play in the Ajax Colombiano defense, Måns Sandberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lorenz Ureta. The Ajax Colombiano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lorenz Ureta should have stopped the shot. Norrlands Athen played a much better game than Ajax Colombiano and deserved their victory. The Ajax Colombiano players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
