With a left leg Giuseppe de Carvalho saved Saiko FC from getting behind. 9 minutes into the match, Saiko FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baba Ba came free, but Giuseppe de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led to Ajax Colombiano's Joppe Hvenegaard getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Giuseppe de Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baba Ba, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Giuseppe de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivon Gasca in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute Baba Ba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giuseppe de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amado Ba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Giuseppe de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
