In the 18th minute Agamenón Gutierrez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Lugo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonides Lugo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Ponce De Leon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Showtime FC's goal looked a bit too open when Romano Vallejo came free, but Leonides Lugo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Leonides Lugo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in Showtime FC's zone, Romano Vallejo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Lugo came out of the goal and Romano Vallejo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonides Lugo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romano Vallejo, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Emil Banan took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonides Lugo. Leonides Lugo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Leonides Lugo came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Cebollas's Emil Banan. But to his dismay, Emil Banan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. In the 66th minute, Cebollas's Agamenón Gutierrez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leonides Lugo. Leonides Lugo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. In the 69th minute, Cebollas's Romano Vallejo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leonides Lugo. Leonides Lugo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. Leonides Lugo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romano Vallejo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agamenón Gutierrez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leonides Lugo came out and tried to block the shot, but Agamenón Gutierrez slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 75th minute. After 78 played minutes Agamenón Gutierrez rounded Showtime FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-11. In the 80th minute, Anibal Beturian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st match minute, Showtime FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Cerilo to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Showtime FC's Leonides Lugo got control of the ball when Emil Banan tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a little luck, Showtime FC's Leonides Lugo got control of the ball when Romano Vallejo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 94th minute, Agamenón Gutierrez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonides Lugo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-14.
