A collision led to Cebollas getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Romano Vallejo hit a great ball. Agamenón Gutierrez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Club Atletico Lanus's Rafael Tano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agamenón Gutierrez in the 12th minute of play. Bastia Segarra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Estavan, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Lanus's Gervasio Bieito got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Emil Banan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Rafael Tano made a huge save. Cebollas's Agamenón Gutierrez got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nereo Diaz kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Cebollas's Andresito Naranjo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rafael Tano. That made the score 2-0 after 38 minutes of play. Cebollas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Romano Vallejo in the 42nd minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Emil Banan heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 45 played minutes Cebollas got a freekick which was hit by Senen Zafrilla. In the 46th minute, Jorge Paz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Andresito Naranjo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Agamenón Gutierrez was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Club Atletico Lanus defense, Emil Banan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Tano. The Club Atletico Lanus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Tano should have stopped the shot. Rafael Tano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emil Banan went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Cebollas getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Senen Zafrilla hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the match, Agamenón Gutierrez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rafael Tano. Club Atletico Lanus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agamenón Gutierrez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atletico Lanus's goalkeeper Rafael Tano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rafael Tano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romano Vallejo, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Bastia Segarra successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 73 minutes into the match, Cebollas's Emil Banan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafael Tano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cebollas's Agamenón Gutierrez got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bastia Segarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Eli in the 92nd minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cebollas fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club Atletico Lanus had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
