In the 3rd minute, Aldo Pes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edoardo Proietti. The goal made the score 1-0. With a little luck, S.S.C. NAPOLI's Edoardo Proietti got control of the ball when Fulgencio Natal tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 7 minutes, Emiliano Pari mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.S.C. NAPOLI and the Almeyra F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute Dave Pierucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Nuxila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciccio Bozzelli might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacinto Nuxila. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ciccio Bozzelli ran back to his position shaking his head. The S.S.C. NAPOLI fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when S.S.C. NAPOLI's Dave Pierucci looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jacinto Nuxila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave Pierucci in the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Ciccio Bozzelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Nuxila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute S.S.C. NAPOLI were awarded a corner. Dave Pierucci went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led S.S.C. NAPOLI's Dave Pierucci to fire away a dangerous shot which Jacinto Nuxila despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. S.S.C. NAPOLI's Edoardo Proietti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Pes in the 22nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dave Pierucci in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacinto Nuxila prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 26 minutes into the match, Dave Pierucci notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Almeyra F.C.'s Jacinto Nuxila. Jacinto Nuxila was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Almeyra F.C.'s Gaspar Gitano got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute, Ciccio Bozzelli had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. 32 minutes into the game, Cecilio Rioja was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Almeyra F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.S.C. NAPOLI the free kick. S.S.C. NAPOLI's Attilio Riccardi was substituted for Ciccio Bozzelli. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Almeyra F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of S.S.C. NAPOLI:s goal. Almeyra F.C.:s Jacinto Nuxila showed great skill when he stopped Dave Pierucci:s penalty. In the 34th minute, Dave Pierucci ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacinto Nuxila was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The supporters of Almeyra F.C. booed when S.S.C. NAPOLI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dave Pierucci didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Victorio Ulizes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Almeyra F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.S.C. NAPOLI the free kick. After a rather tough play, Almeyra F.C.'s Victorio Ulizes got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The Almeyra F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. S.S.C. The wind increased when Aldo Pes made the kick off in the second half. Jacinto Nuxila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Attilio Riccardi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edoardo Proietti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Remir in the 53rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dave Pierucci in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacinto Nuxila saved Almeyra F.C. from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Attilio Riccardi managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.S.C. NAPOLI's supporters rose to their feet, but Attilio Riccardi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacinto Nuxila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 59 played minutes, S.S.C. NAPOLI's Fortunato Iovine shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jacinto Nuxila came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in S.S.C. NAPOLI reached it. Dave Pierucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jacinto Nuxila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, S.S.C. NAPOLI's Fortunato Iovine got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Edoardo Proietti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Natal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Claudio Nataniel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but S.S.C. NAPOLI's Edoardo Proietti did a great save. Emiliano Pari was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Jacinto Nuxila successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
