Club Atletico Lanus's Rafael Tano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Måns Sandberg in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Norrlands Athen's Juan Lebron nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rafael Tano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 22nd minute Måns Sandberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Tano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Safet Hands made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Diaz in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Club Atletico Lanus getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. With a little luck, Norrlands Athen's Safet Hands got control of the ball when Nereo Diaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Norrlands Athen's Måns Sandberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Måns Sandberg in the 43rd minute of play forced Club Atletico Lanus's goalkeeper Rafael Tano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Tano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Huang Fei Ting in the 45th minute of the match.
