After having played for 6 minutes, Marcu Voinea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zagórna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcu Voinea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th minute, Jan-Åke Fransson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in MILLONARIOS FC's zone, Jan-Åke Fransson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eleazar Betzanos came out of the goal and Jan-Åke Fransson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan-Åke Fransson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eleazar Betzanos having to make a save. Jan-Åke Fransson might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eleazar Betzanos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan-Åke Fransson ran back to his position shaking his head. MILLONARIOS FC's Eleazar Betzanos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save MILLONARIOS FC from getting a goal against them. Zagórna's Tomás Figueroa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Xalvador Olmos in the 27 minute of the game. Jan-Åke Fransson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eleazar Betzanos came out and tried to block the shot, but Jan-Åke Fransson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 28th minute. Marcu Voinea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eleazar Betzanos having to make a save. Eleazar Betzanos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Åke Fransson, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Zagórna's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lech Marek in the 41st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Åke Fransson got free with Eleazar Betzanos in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eskild Sneftrup kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Zagórna's Jan-Åke Fransson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eleazar Betzanos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan-Åke Fransson to make the kick off. Eleazar Betzanos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uluç Tekinalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute, Achraf Hakimi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marian Gniech. The goal made the score 1-1. 60 minutes into the match, Marcu Voinea notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of MILLONARIOS FC's Eleazar Betzanos. Eleazar Betzanos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jan-Åke Fransson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mon Ibaute made in the 64th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Xalvador Olmos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Díaz in the 71st minute of play forced Zagórna's goalkeeper Marian Gniech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Zagórna's goal looked a bit too open when Eskild Sneftrup came free, but Marian Gniech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jan-Åke Fransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eleazar Betzanos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Åke Fransson in the 77th minute of the match. Eleazar Betzanos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan-Åke Fransson's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Zagórna's Marian Gniech proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Zagórna from getting a goal against them. Zagórna's Ziemowit Soszka was substituted for Jaroslaw Milko. 80 minutes into the game, one of Zagórna:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Marian Gniech had in the 83rdth minute some difficulties stopping Eskild Sneftrup's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 95th match minute, MILLONARIOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Alberto Yepes to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Zagórna players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
