In the 20th minute, Venancio Prejun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mira Pene was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Gonzo Maradona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oktay Eğriöz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Paso FC booed when Les Tigres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luboš Štencl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Les Tigres's Grzegorz Sokolski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Marcos Tibalt, made in the 46th minute of the game. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oktay Eğriöz made a kick off. Oktay Eğriöz might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gonzo Maradona. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oktay Eğriöz ran back to his position shaking his head. Sermet Erva replaced Luboš Štencl. After 66 played minutes Paso FC got a freekick which was hit by Teo Cresitobalo. With an all-out effort, Les Tigres's Mira Pene threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ömer-Asaf Güneş, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gonzo Maradona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Rivas in the 79th minute of play. Gonzo Maradona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Rivas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 91 minutes of play, Paso FC's Denis Rivas made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gonzo Maradona was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paso FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
