An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Lauro in the 15th minute of play forced Les Tigres's goalkeeper Gonzo Maradona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venancio Prejun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastián Sosa having to interfere. Gonzo Maradona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimiro Lauro in the 36th minute of the match. Vikingos FC were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Les Tigres's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wilhelm Widberg took the corner. Les Tigres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafino Pestaña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebastián Sosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Estevez in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The supporters of Les Tigres booed when Vikingos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiro Lauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Les Tigres's Gonzo Maradona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Lauro in the 57th minute of play. Sebastián Sosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ömer-Asaf Güneş in the 61st minute of the match. Vikingos FC's Vladimiro Lauro was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 64th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Vikingos FC made a substitution. Per-Olof Vallmark replaced Vladimiro Lauro. Vikingos FC's Sebastián Sosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sermet Erva in the 98th minute of play. The Les Tigres supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Vikingos FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Vikingos FC.
