Anders Lundqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Recai Nusrettin in the 4th minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Andersson came free, but Anders Lundqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Roman Garci sped through Golden Lions FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anders Lundqvist. 8 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Willian Cuesta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 10 minutes ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcelo Steven who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Loco Durazno in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Willian Cuesta saved ARES FC DeusDeFutbol from getting behind. If Loco Durazno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Willian Cuesta made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Loco Durazno sent off a good shot on target. Anders Lundqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Garci, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute Loco Durazno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willian Cuesta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcelo Steven was slow to take the kick. During this time Golden Lions FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Golden Lions FC's corner Igor Dzierwa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Willian Cuesta quite easily take care of the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Loco Durazno recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Willian Cuesta. Loco Durazno showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Anders Lundqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Garci, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30th match minute, Golden Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İbrahim Efe Topdemir to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's goalkeeper Willian Cuesta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Recai Nusrettin came free, but Anders Lundqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Recai Nusrettin in the 46th minute of play forced Golden Lions FC's goalkeeper Anders Lundqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anders Lundqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Garci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Loco Durazno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's goal looked a bit too open when Loco Durazno came free, but Willian Cuesta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Loco Durazno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's Felipe Muñoz was substituted for Recai Nusrettin. Loco Durazno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Willian Cuesta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loco Durazno couldn't finish the play. Anders Lundqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Muñoz in the 64th minute of the match. Börge Alkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Golden Lions FC made a substitution. Kjell Holmberg replaced Georg Termander. Golden Lions FC's Cosme Larpe was substituted for Marcelo Steven.
