A nice corner shot did that Cadfan Cornell got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gonzo Maradona quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lars Rönn kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. TiGrEs Fx's Franc Merlot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Prejun in the 32nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, TiGrEs Fx's Hugo Quintana got a free kick in the 45th minute. Severino Estevez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilberto Rancaño to strike the kick off in the second half. TiGrEs Fx's Gilberto Rancaño got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Les Tigres's Mauro Abel got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gonzo Maradona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Rancaño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the TiGrEs Fx defense, Severino Estevez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franc Merlot. The TiGrEs Fx fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franc Merlot should have stopped the shot. TiGrEs Fx's Junior Saron was substituted for José Madero. Les Tigres's Sermet Erva was substituted for Luboš Štencl. TiGrEs Fx's Franc Merlot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Abel in the 69th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Gilberto Rancaño got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 91 minutes into the game, Gilberto Rancaño recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gonzo Maradona. Gilberto Rancaño showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. With 94 minutes on the clock, Hugo Quintana commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 97th minute there was a penalty for Les Tigres. Ömer-Asaf Güneş stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Franc Merlot. 2-1. There was no doubt that Les Tigres were the better team. Les Tigres's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
