Azul Y Plomo's Zacarias Cabrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Rios in the 36th minute of play. Mario Sesuldo hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 44th match minute, AFC FUSION was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Sesuldo to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute Tor Bern shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor Bern in the 47th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guido Txindoki to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Azul Y Plomo's Tor Bern slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roberto Eztebe. That made the score 1-1 after 51 minutes of play. AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 93 minutes into the match, Eduardo Macías dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Roberto Eztebe, 1-5. The Azul Y Plomo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Azul Y Plomo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
