Roberto Eztebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Unax, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tello AFC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Pello, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Tello AFC's zone, Lino Rios stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalmacio Pello came out of the goal and Lino Rios tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dalmacio Pello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lino Rios's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Roberto Eztebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Billing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Tello AFC's corner Pastor Nofre fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Roberto Eztebe quite easily take care of the ball. Dalmacio Pello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Rios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Lino Rios left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC FUSION fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Uriel Cordearo in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roberto Eztebe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Uriel Cordearo made a kick off. After some careless play in the Tello AFC defense, Lino Rios kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dalmacio Pello. The Tello AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dalmacio Pello should have stopped the shot. Faustino Unax could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Roberto Eztebe made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Rios in the 60th minute of play forced Tello AFC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Pello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dalmacio Pello showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Tello AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Christoff Stocks came free, but Dalmacio Pello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
