The referee ignored Piratas FC's protests and gave Roman Steven a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Piratas FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Roman Steven hit a great ball. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Piratas FC's goalkeeper Raimond Lenk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Raimond Lenk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Rios in the 18th minute of the match. AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Onofre in the 19th minute of play. Roman Steven was shown his second yellow card after 20 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Piratas FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Roman Steven hit a great ball. Lino Rios blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raimond Lenk having to make a save. 23 minutes into the match, Piratas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Rios came free, but Raimond Lenk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Lino Rios had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raimond Lenk. Piratas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lino Rios was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. AFC FUSION's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paul Vase was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lino Rios to make the kick off. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Constantino Idacio helped the player get up and apologised. Constantino Idacio kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After 84 minutes Piratas FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dawid Beckham who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Dawid Beckham almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Piratas FC's Raimond Lenk did a great save. Piratas FC's Raimond Lenk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Hop in the 89th minute of play.
