Zacarias Cabrero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Txindoki, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 24 minutes of play, AFC FUSION's Guido Txindoki made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zacarias Cabrero was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Azul Y Plomo's Diaz Mota got a free kick in the 27th minute. The supporters of AFC FUSION booed when Azul Y Plomo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Diniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Lino Rios came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the AFC FUSION fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lino Rios couldn't finish the play. 34 minutes into the match, Azul Y Plomo's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Rios came free, but Zacarias Cabrero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Tor Bern took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Roberto Eztebe to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in AFC FUSION's zone, Tor Bern stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Eztebe came out of the goal and Tor Bern tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tor Bern. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience was convinced that Tor Bern's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roberto Eztebe was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. In the 55th minute Azul Y Plomo were awarded a corner. José Macías went to the cornerflag to take it. Azul Y Plomo made a substitution. Latif Biçim replaced Teo Alberdi.
