Neron Veterini took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jean-Pascal Weiss. Jean-Pascal Weiss dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 20th minute, Neron Veterini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The WINNING ELEVEN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Neron Veterini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute of the game Terry Pèlerin made a throw-in which Gabriel Périn played forward. gipsy kings's Jean-Pascal Weiss proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save gipsy kings from getting a goal against them. 39 minutes into the match, Neron Veterini dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jean-Pascal Weiss, 6-0. 46 minutes into the match, Neron Veterini notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of gipsy kings's Jean-Pascal Weiss. Jean-Pascal Weiss was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabrice Gamet to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neron Veterini in the 52nd minute of play forced gipsy kings's goalkeeper Jean-Pascal Weiss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Neron Veterini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jean-Pascal Weiss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neron Veterini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jean-Pascal Weiss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neron Veterini, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, Ladislao Ermengol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jean-Pascal Weiss was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. In the 61st minute, Neron Veterini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The WINNING ELEVEN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. In the 69th minute, Neron Veterini made a precise shot to the right of Jean-Pascal Weiss. gipsy kings's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. Neron Veterini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Jean-Pascal Weiss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. WINNING ELEVEN's Şentürk Orgun was substituted for Leonel Cordaro. WINNING ELEVEN made a substitution. Nemesio Tximitx replaced Neron Veterini. The supporters of gipsy kings booed when WINNING ELEVEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silverio Gipuzkoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jean-Pascal Weiss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Tximitx in the 89th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Nemesio Tximitx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Pascal Weiss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nemesio Tximitx took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jean-Pascal Weiss. Jean-Pascal Weiss dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 13-0. When the referee ended the match the WINNING ELEVEN players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
