Cristobal Goito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Idacio in the 4th minute of the match. Hauk Hareide blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raimond Lenk having to make a save. Raimond Lenk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hauk Hareide in the 6th minute. Hauk Hareide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimond Lenk having to interfere. When Hauk Hareide came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Carabata Groove fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hauk Hareide couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Piratas FC's Eleuterio Errolan got a free kick in the 25th minute. Hauk Hareide could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Raimond Lenk made a huge save. A well-hit corner resulted in Hermengildo Bazkoare heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The supporters of Carabata Groove booed when Piratas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Loi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hermengildo Bazkoare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Carabata Groove's Hauk Hareide ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Raimond Lenk. Raimond Lenk yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 38th minute, Constantino Idacio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Hermengildo Bazkoare managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carabata Groove's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermengildo Bazkoare was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raimond Lenk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute, Amadeo Francesco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute Esteve Urtungo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimond Lenk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Carabata Groove's Mauro Elazar was substituted for Hauk Hareide. In the 53rd minute Mauro Elazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimond Lenk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, Spyros Zacharioudakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piratas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carabata Groove the free kick. After 55 played minutes Piratas FC got a freekick which was hit by Spyros Zacharioudakis. In the 59th minute, Mauro Elazar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raimond Lenk was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. If Mauro Elazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Angelo Rolado reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cristobal Goito. The goal made the score 3-1. 69 minutes into the match, Piratas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Elazar came free, but Raimond Lenk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, David Rios cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Raimond Lenk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Carabata Groove booed when Piratas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Idacio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raimond Lenk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Elazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carabata Groove were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Piratas FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Verner Nordin took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Andreas Möller heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Raimond Lenk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Rios, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 84th minute, David Rios made a precise shot to the right of Raimond Lenk. Piratas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Raimond Lenk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauro Elazar went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. In the 89th minute David Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimond Lenk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raimond Lenk had in the 98thth minute some difficulties stopping Verner Nordin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauro Elazar in the 99th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raimond Lenk saved Piratas FC from getting behind. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Carabata Groove had played much better football throughout.
