The DINAMO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ysmael Marfil should have stopped the shot. After 23 minutes, Traian Stoiculescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DINAMO and the De Boedo Vengo players grew even worse after the yellow card. The corner ended in Lisandro Roderigo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil did a great save. In the 36th minute Ryszard Borcz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wawrzyniec Charamut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of De Boedo Vengo booed when DINAMO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Filipoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augustin Văduvescu's late challenge caught a De Boedo Vengo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augustin Văduvescu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th match minute, DINAMO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augustin Văduvescu to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Cina in the 53rd minute of play forced De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Charamut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Desiderio Ascencio fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De Boedo Vengo's protests and gave Desiderio Ascencio a yellow card for diving instead. Desiderio Ascencio hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save DINAMO from getting a goal against them. Moise Vlădean took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wawrzyniec Charamut. Wawrzyniec Charamut dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vicente Arano in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ysmael Marfil saved DINAMO from getting behind. When Desiderio Ascencio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. Desiderio Ascencio hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, Felix Asier dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ysmael Marfil, 1-4. Traian Stoiculescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wawrzyniec Charamut having to interfere. DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Arano in the 84th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lisandro Roderigo got free with Ysmael Marfil in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 90 minutes into the game, DINAMO's Moise Vlădean nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wawrzyniec Charamut made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. In the 94th minute of the match Dorin Agârbiceanu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wawrzyniec Charamut showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of DINAMO booed when De Boedo Vengo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Felipo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute, Dorin Agârbiceanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wawrzyniec Charamut was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. When the final whistle sounded De Boedo Vengo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than DINAMO.
