If Karim Morientes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 13 minutes of play, AFC FUSION's Lino Rios made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benicio Larez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benicio Larez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Rios in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Lino Rios left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC FUSION fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Iker Maldini hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karim Morientes in the 30th minute of play. After 32 minutes AFC FUSION's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bai Yong Yi who took care of the corner kick. Roberto Eztebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karim Morientes, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Qian Ning Zhan during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th minute of the match Valhalla F.C. got a corner. AFC FUSION's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bai Yong Yi ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Valhalla F.C.'s Bai Yong Yi to fire away a dangerous shot which Roberto Eztebe despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jan Hop kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karim Morientes to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Jan Hop threw the ball into play from the sideline. Valhalla F.C.'s Vilmundur Sólbergsson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. AFC FUSION's attentive Romulo Abilio managed to snatch the ball when Iker Maldini made a throw-in in the 54th minute of the game. In the 58th minute, Lino Rios left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC FUSION fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bai Yong Yi in the 61st minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valhalla F.C.'s Izel Ronaldo was substituted for Karim Morientes. In the 65th minute, Lino Rios got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valhalla F.C.'s Radek Majewski was substituted for Du Fan Fei. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milio Baca in the 67th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by AFC FUSION's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Radek Majewski was slow to take the kick. During this time Valhalla F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led Valhalla F.C.'s Radek Majewski to fire away a dangerous shot which Roberto Eztebe despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Roberto Eztebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radek Majewski in the 72nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Lino Rios took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Benicio Larez to make any attempt to save it. AFC FUSION's Sergej Mazuret was substituted for Lino Rios. Gaxan Barrena kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Soner Midilli in the 86th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benicio Larez came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC FUSION's Sergej Mazuret. But to his dismay, Sergej Mazuret quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. In the 91st minute, Sergej Mazuret hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Izel Ronaldo in the 93rd minute of play. Roberto Eztebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Izel Ronaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The AFC FUSION supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AFC FUSION would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
