After having played for 45 minutes, Gustavo Eladio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. BELGRANO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Eladio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The WINNING ELEVEN players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. C. A. BELGRANO were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Gustavo Eladio made the kick off in the second half. Martin Rito came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by WINNING ELEVEN's Fred Nilsson. But to his dismay, Fred Nilsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 59 minutes into the game, WINNING ELEVEN's Fred Nilsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Rito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Gabriel Cortez kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. C. A. BELGRANO made a substitution.
