One of Piratas FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Acuña:s goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Spyros Zacharioudakis got free with Santos Vincent in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 8th minute Long Liang Wei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimond Lenk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Acuña getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Bernardino Serapio hit a great ball. Raimond Lenk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Cabezon in the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Long Liang Wei in the 19th minute of play forced Piratas FC's goalkeeper Raimond Lenk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santos Vincent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Spyros Zacharioudakis in the 23rd minute of play. Raimond Lenk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Cabezon in the 25th minute of play. After 47 minutes of play, Piratas FC's Spyros Zacharioudakis made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santos Vincent was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andres Cabezon made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Andres Cabezon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raimond Lenk was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. The supporters of Acuña booed when Piratas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Spyros Zacharioudakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raimond Lenk was a little too slow when Bernardino Serapio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 1-1. Long Liang Wei scored 1-2 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raimond Lenk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Amancio Urtun hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Acuña's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Steven came free, but Santos Vincent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
