In the 23rd minute, Vassilis Vonortas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 26th minute Vassilis Vonortas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Lastra Pinga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The USA fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when USA's Edward Mcdonald looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lastra Pinga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 36th minute of play. After 37 minutes of play, USA's Cassius Byrne made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lastra Pinga was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 41st minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lastra Pinga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cassius Byrne to make the kick off. Erubiel Atarrabi hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Lastra Pinga successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lastra Pinga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 55th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Sam Campbell kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lastra Pinga. That made the score 2-3 in the 89 minute of play.
