Generoso Navarro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Day having to make a save. In the 12thth minute of the game Generoso Navarro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Generoso Navarro in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marco Day, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 34 minutes, Generoso Navarro made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. USA's Marco Day tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Monty Rogers managed to get in a good position for a shot. USA's supporters rose to their feet, but Monty Rogers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hipolito Igon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 64 minutes USA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ahmed Cohen-Tannoudji who took care of the corner kick. Sam Campbell who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Hipolito Igon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Turi in the 76th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aquilino Ponce in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sam Campbell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Ponce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Aquilino Ponce made a precise shot to the right of Marco Day. USA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.
