Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Axel Tasis made the kick off which started today's match. After 3 played minutes Pintado AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gomez Guilarte. After having played for 5 minutes, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Puig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pintado AFC's Savion Menocal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 6th minute of play. Gomez Guilarte kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Noboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Savion Menocal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lehen Sarasua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lehen Sarasua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Axel Tasis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pintado AFC's Lehen Sarasua got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Lehen Sarasua tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 31st minute, Axel Tasis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Savion Menocal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 37 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lehen Sarasua. After some careless play in the Pintado AFC defense, Eliseo Noboa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Savion Menocal. The Pintado AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Savion Menocal should have stopped the shot. Axel Tasis scored 0-3 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Savion Menocal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Costa Rica were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lehen Sarasua to make the kick off. Hugo Ferrant hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lehen Sarasua in the 53rd minute of the match. Olivar Yzarra kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 60th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Pintado AFC's Gomez Guilarte got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Lehen Sarasua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Pintado AFC made a substitution. Edelmiro Luan replaced Lehen Sarasua. Savion Menocal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 84th minute of play forced Pintado AFC's goalkeeper Savion Menocal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edelmiro Luan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Savion Menocal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Costa Rica eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
