Torbjørn Trondsen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 39th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermann Hesse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deportivo Popolizio FBC were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Colombia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cris Ronaldo took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Araoz Solanos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedro Manzanares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 46 played minutes Deportivo Popolizio FBC got a freekick which was hit by Torbjørn Trondsen. After 47 minutes of play, Colombia's Abram Sarmiento made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hermann Hesse was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erruki Velarroa to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Colombia booed when Deportivo Popolizio FBC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geir Søfteland didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Hermann Hesse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deportivo Popolizio FBC made a substitution. Gaizkine Ibern replaced Tibor Nyilasi. Hermann Hesse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Carballar in the 63rd minute of play. Orlando Tafalla made in the 65th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Santino Seco. Cris Ronaldo kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Hermann Hesse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 68th minute of play. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. 76 minutes in the game Orlando Tafalla did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Santino Seco. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Bartolo Basualdo sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Bartolo Basualdo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Basualdo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermann Hesse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The Deportivo Popolizio FBC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
